Rafaela Marcondes is a lawyer graduated from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP), with over 7 years of experience in Intellectual Property, Technology Transactions, and Personal Data Protection.
Her work in Intellectual Property covers the protection, management, and strategic exploitation of intangible assets, including trademarks, patents, software, and works protected by copyright. She has experience handling registration and rights protection proceedings, drafting and reviewing contracts involving intellectual property assets, conducting due diligence for corporate transactions, and providing specialized legal counsel in the field.
In Personal Data Protection, she advises companies on the implementation and maintenance of compliance programs under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD), working on the drafting of internal policies and procedures, contract review, preparation of data processing agreements, training, privacy by design projects, and activities related to the role of Data Protection Officer (DPO).
